According to IMDb, this movie is scheduled to come out in November of 2013, and while I'm super excited about it, I'm not sure how I feel about some of the casting decisions.  Actually, make that ALL of the casting decisions.  And wasn't Ender supposed to be around 7 or 8 years old in this book?  Plus, I gotta tell you I saw Hugo and got the sneaking suspicion that Asa Butterfield thinks he's better than me. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!  Can't Wait!

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan



I have recommended this book to so many people with very mixed results.  I guess you either love it or you hate it.  But this mix of teen angst, love triangles, creepy societies, and zombies for me?  Love!  This whole trilogy is fantastic.  And while listening to this first installment on audio book made me want to stab myself in the ears with scissors, this story can't be beat.  When I saw that this was heading to the big screen in 2013, I just knew the apocalypse needed to hold off for at least another year.  But it will be so worth it!  I can't wait to see who they cast for this movie, I can't wait to see the zombies, and I CAN'T WAIT for people to flock to the shelves to pick up these books.  BOOM!
